Update: Arrest made in morning bank robbery

The Madison County Sheriff's deputies have a suspect in custody in a Huntsville bank robbery.

It happened at the North Alabama Bank on Winchester Road just after 8:30 a.m.

Antonio Drake is charged with first degree robbery.  Authorities said Drake dropped  the majority of his loot as he was making his get away.

Drake then jumped into a car that he'd previously stolen and drove about a mile down the road.

A State Trooper, who had heard the BOLO, spotted him and with the help a Sheriff's Deputity they were both able to apprehend Drake as he was running through some woods off of Winchester Road.

Officers searched the car Drake used in the robbery and found a gun on the front seat of the car and a bag full of clothes.

Drake is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
