In her first public response since losing her husband December 15th, the wife of slain Huntsville Police Officer Eric Freeman gave WAFF 48 News a short letter of thanks to pass along to the community.
Leslie Freeman wants to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words.
In the 3 paragraph letter, Leslie writes: "Eric always told me he loved 'his town' and it was because of the wonderful people he had the privilege of serving every day."
