It's the Boys' Turn Today in the Huntsville Times Classic

(HUNTSVILLE) - Sixteen boys basketball teams compete today in the silver anniversary of the Huntsville Times Classic, which begins at 9 am with Grissom facing Madison Academy at Huntsville High's main gym.

The host team, Huntsville, has won only one Classic since it was inaugurated in 1983. That was in 1985. They will play Hillcrest (Memphis) at 6 pm.

A champion will be decided, Saturday, at 7 pm at Huntsville High's main gym. Butler High is the defending champion of the showcase event.

•  Grissom vs. Madison Academy, 9 am
•  Johnson vs. Athens, 10:30 am
•  Hayes vs. Bob Jones, noon
•  Sparkman vs. LaVergne, 1:30 pm
•  Butler vs. Decatur, 3 pm
•  Austin vs. Hazel Green, 4:30 pm
•  Hillcrest (Memphis) vs. Huntsville, 6 pm
•  Lee vs. Florence, 7:30 pm
