Crimes at two Valley schools add up to $80,000 in damage

Two incidents of school vandalism have police in Albertville looking for the culprits.

Alabama Avenue Middle School and Albertville High School were hit sometime during the night.

Vandals went into the middle school, damaged 14 computers, a TV, a copier machine and two vending machines.

Inside the lunchroom area, food was taken from its storage and strewn across the floor.

At AHS, a portable classroom was broken into and a Dell computer monitor was reported as missing along with damage to a window.

Estimates of the damage at this time is placed at more than $80,000.
