Huntsville Hospital earns 2007 Consumer Choice Award

(Huntsville, AL) For the sixth consecutive year, National Research Corporation has recognized Huntsville Hospital for its quality with the 2007 Consumer Choice Award.

Huntsville Hospital is one of only three hospitals statewide to receive this honor for 2007.

NRC annually conducts a comprehensive survey of more than 200,000 households representing 450,000 consumers across the nation to determine which hospitals have the highest quality and image in more than 190 major healthcare markets.

NRC Chief Executive Officer Michael D. Hays said winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings.

"We are pleased to honor these facilities for their dedication to quality healthcare in the eyes of their patients," said Hays.

Huntsville Hospital Chief Operating Officer Sonya Greck credits the award to the staff and physicians at Huntsville Hospital. "This honor is a reflection of excellent care and service," she said.
