Two people hurt in fiery car accident

A three car wreck in the overnight hours sent two people to the hospital.

It happened at around 2:00 a.m. on I-65 south of the Tennessee River bridge.

The three vehicles collided in a chain-reaction wreck, causing one of the cars to catch fire.

Witnesses on the scene were able to pull the car's driver from the fiery wreckage.

That driver, 57-year-old Thomas Ward of Hartselle, was flown to Huntsville Hospital.

A second driver, 31-year-old Terrilyn Glover of Warrior, was taken to Decatur General Hospital.
