Tory Dunnan was born in Washington, D.C. and developed an early affection for broadcast news.
Prior to moving to Huntsville, Tory graduated magna cum laude with an honors B.A. degree in Public and Private Sector Organizations from Brown University. She then got her master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
At Medill, Tory reported on local immigration issues for NewsChannel 8 in Washington and worked as a Washington correspondent for KTVQ and other CBS affiliates in Montana. She reported, anchored and produced for a weekly newscast on WYCC in Chicago. Tory also wrote articles from the nation's capital for the Island Packet newspaper in Hilton Head, SC.
Tory enjoys playing various sports, keeping up with politics, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
She is excited to live and work in northern Alabama!
