No freedom for two 'Free Militia' members

Two north Alabama men accused of being members of an anti-government militia have been sentenced to more than three years each on federal weapons charges.

Randall Garrett Cole, a 22-year-old from Gadsden, was sentenced to 37 months in prison in his appearance today in federal court in Birmingham.

James Ray McElroy, a 20-year-old from Collinsville, was sentenced to 41 months earlier this morning.

Three other men accused of stockpiling homemade hand grenades for a group called the Free Militia will be sentenced at a later date.
