Albertville police report: Drunk driving arrests and school vandalism

Kevin Mark Sutton, 21, of 203 WAVU Circle, Albertville was arrested on September 8 at 12:40 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and carrying a concealed weapon.  During the investigation of the DUI, a pistol was located within the vehicle that Sutton allegedly could not produce a permit for.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Albertville City Jail.

Dejuan Demetric Spain, 32, of 507 Pine Street in Albertville was arrested on September 9 at 3:13 a.m. and charged with DUI.  During the investigation it was discovered that the Albertville Police Department also held a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant for his arrest.  He was booked into the Albertville City Jail on the pair of charges with a hold for Boaz PD.

Carlos Gonzlez Tellez, 24, of 301 Katherine Street in Albertville was arrested on September 8 at 4:20 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence.

Four young boys were questioned about damage at Albertville High School after they were observed leaving the area just before midnight on on September 7.  The four were stopped by police near the high school and as they were being questioned,  broken light bulbs were located by another officer.  According to the report, the four were all transported and turned over to their parents.  The incident remains under investigation.
