The ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the site which is 2.3 miles south of the intersection where WalMart is located.
The state-of-the-art building will be constructed and engineered to meet both today's and tomorrow's community needs. The building will include a community room.
State Health Officer Dr. Donald Williamson said, "I am happy to see the dream of improved public health facilities becoming a reality in Limestone County as it has in many other counties in the state. This facility should serve the public well for years to come."
This special event is made possible through the financial support of the Limestone County Commission and its chairman David Seibert. The Alabama Public Health Care Authority is providing the funding for the construction.
