A Virginia judge has accepted Michael Vick's guilty plea to a federal dogfighting charge.
Vick will be sentenced in December, and will most likely face prison time.
The judge emphasized he is not bound by sentencing guidelines or the recommendations of prosecutors and can impose the maximum sentence of up to five years in prison.
Vick says he's sorry for "using bad judgment and making bad decisions."
Shortly after entering the guilty plea, the Atlanta Falcons quarterback vowed to redeem himself.
