Fisher-Price recalls almost 1,000,000 toys

A major toy maker is recalling hundreds of thousands of toys featuring popular characters.

The recall involves paint on plastic toys made by Fisher-Price.

The toys were made in China and sold in the US between may and August.

They feature popular characters like Big Bird, Elmo, and Dora the Explorer.

There's a high level of lead in the paint on the toys, and a spokesperson says it poses a serious threat to young children.

If you have one of the recalled toys, you can exchange it for a voucher for another product of the same value.
