Juveniles attack Huntsville's homeless

Four juveniles have been arrested and charged with 2nd Degree robbery in connection with assaults on a homeless camp.

Huntsville Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said the juveniles, all males, have been booked into the Neaves Davis Center for Children.

Their ages are 11, 12, 13 and 14.

Johnson said there were two separate attacks. The first incident occurred on June 20th under  Intersate 565 near Hall Street.

The second attack occurred June 25th.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Johnson added that Huntsville Police continue to work with homeless advocates to provide the appropriate resources to prevent such incidents in the future.
