Hundreds of locals honored for contributions to space flight

NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville will recognize 237 civil service and contract employees who have made significant contributions to the continued success of America's space program.

Awards include certificates, medals and recognition from the President of the United States, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin and Marshall Center Director David King.

The honor awards ceremony will take place Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.

It will be held at Marshall Space Flight Center.
