The FAA will continue their investigation this weekend into what caused a small single engine plane to crash in Cullman County, hurting two people.
It went down north of Folsom Field near Vinemont at around 3:20 p.m. Friday.
The pilot of the Beechcraft Bonanza was making an emergency landing when something went awry.
WAFF News has learned that he landed with no landing gear extended, bounced off the pavement, crossed a road, and came to a rest across the street from the first point of impact.
The couple inside the plane identified themselves to witnesses as John and Christy Kerr. The FAA tells WAFF 48 both are expected to be ok, but they will have to undergo surgery.
WAFF 48 News will have more on this developing news story all weekend on our newscasts and on WAFF.com.
