No rest for the weary: Albertville Police work hard to fight crime

The Albertville Police Department is trying to put a dent in crime this week.

One case involves allegations of driving under the influence, and the other one has to do with a burglary.

Officers say Christopher David Morton was arrested yesterday on Hwy 431 North. He is charged with DUI.

Meanwhile, Perfecto Ramos reported a burglary at his home on Baltimore Avenue in Albertville.

It happened sometime during the night of June 20th.

Several items were taken including a Panasonic TV, a VCR, cash and assorted personal papers.

The total loss was placed at $430.
