El Puente at Lacon Trade Day in Falkville got a recent visit from the Morgan County inspector. That inspection uncovered 11 violations including three critical violations. Those criticals include points lost for a personal drink in the food prep area, rice at unsafe temperatures in hot holding and dirty food contact surfaces.
The violations all add up to earn El Puente our Rotten Rating. Their current score is a 74. Keep in mind a score below 85 means more frequent visits from the health inspector.

The Mitt Food Mart at 303 Governors Drive in Huntsville is on the list after a recent visit from the Madison County inspector. That inspection found 14 violations, including three critical violations. Those criticals include points lost for improper sanitization equipment and concentration, no water supply for the handwashing sink, and rodent poison out in the open. The Mitt Food Mart is posting a score of 75.
Dari-Delite at 603 Highway 31 in Hartselle has some work to do after scoring a 78 on a recent Morgan County inspection.
Discount Express at 13375 South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville is a few points shy of the mark with a health department score of 81.
China Wok at 800 Highway 31 in Hartselle has some work to do with an 81 on a recent Morgan County inspection.
And Asian Buffet at 241 Highway 31 in Hartselle needs to add a few points to their health department score of 81 as well.

Rosie's Mexican Cantina on South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville is standing out with a 99 this week! Red Bay Hospital, the Senior Center in Russellville and the Target on Cox Creek in Florence are all posting 99's!
The Sam's Club on Holmes Avenue in Huntsville hits a high note with a perfect score of 100! The Shell Subway on Highway 72 in Athens and Redmont Skateland in Red Bay both earn high marks with 99's!
