Many residents of Decatur are happy because this shopping center isn't just 'on target', but ahead of schedule.

Bill Schuh is the project superintendent.

"The weather has really helped me, and I've done a lot of things ahead of schedule because of the rain not coming and it's really been helping us.

Often the rain or bad weather means delays and contractors have to 'smooth over' those postponements.

So what's the advantage of being ahead of schedule? Well, it could help you with future projects.

"We do a number of projects for Target. There are a number of contractors that do work for target stores. And we do have a tendency to bring our stores in before a lot of contractors," Schuh adds.

Clear skies mean good news for building construction and the workers trying to 'measure up' for the client.
