Man held without bond in weekend murder

WAFF 48 News has an update about a weekend murder.

Authorities have charged Ralph Dean Alldredge, 55, with murder in the Saturday night shooting death of his wife Rhonda Gail Stephens Alldredge, 54.

Saturday night, the Marshall County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at 9596 Warrenton Road in Guntersville concerning a shooting incident.  Deputies arrived on the scene around 8:00 p.m., to find Rhonda Alldredge dead.

Ralph Alldredge was arrested at a neighbor's residence near the home.  He  has been charged with murder and is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail without bond.

"Domestic violence cases are some of the most dangerous calls that we deal with on a daily basis.  The victims often fail to report incidents of abuse because of fear or embarrassment," said Sheriff Mike Walls.
