Kids to Love introduces JJ

Every week, WAFF 48 News Anchor Lee Marshall introduces WAFF 48 viewers to foster children who need forever families.  The stories are the basis for Lee's Kids to Love Foundation, which helps meet the childrens' needs while they are in foster care.

On June 3rd, Lee introduced JJ.

JJ is 7-years-old and when we met him, he was happily riding a scooter.  He likes to ride and has a bicycle at his foster home.

"A red bicycle," JJ says.

He also loves cars and trucks.

JJ is a special child, with special needs.

"JJ is a very sweet and loving little boy. He plays well with others," says Ramonia Ross, JJ's social worker. "He loves to be hugged, he loves to be kissed, he loves to be praised. He's a very good child."

JJ is in the second grade.  He recieves special services to help him with his math and reading. JJ needs a family with a big heart and some patience; someone who is understanding and willing to help him learn, grow and meet his potential.

Are you JJ's angel?
