Honor Flight - A Chance to Honor our WWII Vets

WAFF 48 is working with The Huntsville Times and the newly formed Tennessee Valley Chapter of Honor Flight to send World War II Veterans to see the WWII Monument in Washington, DC.

Honor Flight is seeking former soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen for the program. The day long trip is free of charge for World II veterans.

If you are interested in helping Heart of the Valley WWII Veterans see their memorial,  you can  make a donation.  Send your check or money order to Honor Flight, c/o The Huntsville Times, PO Box 1487 West Station, Huntsville, AL 35807.  Honor Flight Tennessee Valley Chapter is a 501(c) non-profit corporation.  All donations are tax deductible. 

Volunteers are also needed. You can also sign up to help WWII veterans on a future Honor Flight.  The application to be a guardian can be found in the "Also on the Web" links column next to this article.
