Taste of Huntsville set for Oct. 19

The Taste of Huntsville is right around the corner, and this year, restaurants from all around the Heart of the Valley will be showcased.

Wedmesday at the Space and Rocket Center, the Huntsville-Madison County Hospitality Association along with the Huntsville Times announced the Taste of Huntsville.

Fine foods from local restaurants and caterers have already started signing up.

This year the event will benefit Crisis Services of North Alabama.

Vendors such as 801 Franklin, Bonefish Grill, House of Brews, among many others will be catering.

\bob Rogers\the taste of Huntsville] "generally we have about 30-35 vendors, and you get to try all foods from all different restaurants in town, there's some beverage companies that participate as well. Last year we had 1000 people show up to it, it's just a great event for Huntsville and for people to showcase their food."

The Taste of Huntsville will be Thursday, Oct. 19 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
