Tom Parker was elected to the Alabama Supreme Court in 2004.
He is a Montgomery native. Parker graduated from Darthmouth College and got his law degree from Vanderbilt. He also studied at the University of Sao Paulo School of Law in Brazil.
Parker has served as an Assistant Attorney General. He was also appointed by former Chief Justice Roy Moore to be the Deputy Administrative Director of Courts. Parker was a legal adviser for Moore.
Prior to being elected to the Supreme Court, Parker worked with The Foundation for Moral Law.
Parker and his wife, Dottie, are members of the Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church.
