MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Biscuits are known for coming up with unique promotional nights to get fans involved, but a recent promotion is getting extra attention on social media.

On Wednesday, the Biscuits announced a “Millennial Night” would be held on Saturday, July 21.

The Biscuits started the promotional post by saying "Want free things without doing much work? Well, you're in luck!"

Millennial Night will include a participation ribbon giveaway “just for showing up” and stations for napping and selfies. There will also be “lots of avocados,” of course.

The post has garnered mixed reactions on social media.

Some users say the post is in poor taste and insulting, while others insisted it was a genius idea marketed towards the “most social media active demographic.”

The Biscuits playfully responded to the naysayers by expressing those who were offended could feel free to fight their battles “IRL” (in real life) by visiting Riverwalk.
