MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Authorities say a riot at the Marshall County Jail is now under control.
A disturbance was reported Wednesday afternoon. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office reports that a group of inmates physically engaged deputies and jail staff during a shakedown Tuesday morning and became more aggressive during the conflict.

Multiple units from every major city in Marshall County - Albertville, Guntersville, Arab, and Boaz - were called to the scene.
