LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - High school football season is not here, yet at East Limestone High School on Friday, many local teams laced up their cleats to support the Kerry Goode Foundation for a former Alabama football player battling with ALS.
So Friday's seven on seven was so much more than just a game as our local athletes learned the importance of taking care of each other.
Local NFL veterans Rashad Johnson and Jerraud Powers spoke with high school football players, preaching the importance of teamwork and pushing through adversity in life.
