Sheffield police looking for escaped inmate

SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -

Sheffield police are looking for William Anthony Taylor Jr. an escaped inmate.

Police say Taylor escaped custody at approximately 8:30 p.m. on May 29.

Taylor is a white male, approximately 150 pounds and 5'6" height.

Police say Taylor was last seen wearing a dark-colored tank top and unknown pants or shorts heading westbound on foot from the Sheffield Police Department.
