RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A man in Russellville has been reunited with his dog after his vehicle was stolen on Friday.

Russellville police took to social media to ask for the public’s help in identifying a man who stole a truck at a local business Friday morning. A German Shepherd, named “Jett”, was in the truck when it was stolen.

Jeff Masterson, the owner of the truck, offered a reward to anyone who could help him find his dog.

The suspect reportedly turned himself in to authorities after seeing multiple posts on Facebook regarding the theft. After being arrested, he admitted to taking care of the dog and feeding her.

Investigators in Tishomingo County, Mississippi reunited Masterson with Jett on Saturday.
