HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - There is trouble for travelers who planned to fly directly to Orlando, Florida from Huntsville International Airport via Silver Airways.
The company says its postponing the start of nonstop service until at least Sept. 13.
Silver Airways says scheduled customers who booked flights between May 23 and Sept. 12 will automatically get a refund.
Silver Airways states the delay is because the airline is using a new aircraft for the route. Also, this is the first time the craft will be flown in the U.S., so the FAA certification process is taking longer than expected.
