Two Men and a Truck is partnering with the Downtown Rescue mission for its annual “Movers for Moms” collection drive.

The company is collecting items for mothers in need in the community.

All the donations will go to Owen's House, the women and children's center at the Downtown Rescue Mission. There are more than 30 collection sites where you can drop off donations until May 10th.

Items that could be donated include toiletry items, such as shampoo, body wash, hairstyling products, as well as other items for children. Two Men and a Truck will pick up and deliver the items to partnering shelters around Mothers Day.

Patti Moody, the resident advisor at the Downtown Rescue Mission, says you may never know how much your donations mean to these mothers.

“When you give a dollar or an hour of your time, you're giving them that chance back, that hope back.” said Moody.

There will also be a "Fill the Truck" event on May 5th at the Kroger on Highway 72 in Huntsville, at which Two Men and a Truck will be collecting donations
