1 dead after wreck on Highway 431

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A late night wreck has left one person dead.

It happened around 11:30 on Monday night on Highway 431 at Wilson Mann.

We're told a car collided with an 18 wheeler, killing the driver of the car. 

Officials have identified the victim as 54-year-old as Danny Dudley of Owens Cross Roads. 

Authorities are still trying to figure out what caused this wreck.

    Authorities are searching for a Decatur work release inmate who walked away from his job site in Tuscumbia according to our news partner, the Times Daily. The Alabama Department of Corrections said Tobby Randall Blackstock, 40, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, with strawberry blond hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both arms and was wearing black shoes, dark blue jeans and a blue T-shirt. According to DOC, he walked away from his assigned job location at 5:35 p.m. Friday....More >>
