ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Two Georgia Tech basketball players have been suspended after rules violations, according to the school.

The violations were self-reported to the NCAA in October.

Senior Tadric Jackson will sit out three games, while sophomore Josh Okogie will sit out six games, starting with last Saturday's season-opener against UCLA.

Jackson will be eligible to return against North Texas on Nov. 24, while Okogie will be eligible on Dec. 3 against Tennessee.

The school says the suspension is "in accordance with a reinstatement decision issued by the NCAA."
