Cassandra Crutcher's case is the most recent unsolved murder.

The 55-year-old was found dead inside her Sunrise Apartment home on Old Blue Springs Road June 17th.

Her friends made the discovery.  They told WAFF 48 News the night before her death was her first night in that apartment.  She moved from an upstairs unit because she had trouble with the stairs.

An autopsy confirmed she died of blunt force trauma to the head.

According to a Jacksonville news station McLemore was participating in a 25-day leadership training course at Camp Blanding and was sent out Wednesday morning with dozens of classmates for a land navigation assignment.
