Two shot during domestic dispute in Decatur

A Decatur man is in jail after a domestic dispute turned violent. 

On Saturday police were called to the scene of a shooting on Courtney Dr. in SW Decatur. 

Officers arrived to find Latiska Wilson and her son, Norris Kendell Jones Jr., both suffering from a single gunshot wound. 

Detectives from Decatur P.D.'s Violent Crimes Unit were dispatched to the scene and began an investigation into the incident. 

The investigation revealed Wilson and Jones were shot during an argument with Wilson's husband, Marvin Anthony Wilson. 

As a result of the investigation, Mr. Wilson was charged with Domestic Violence 1st Degree Assault and Domestic Violence 2nd Degree Assault. 

Ms. Wilson was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital and treated for her injuries. Her son was treated at Huntsville Hospital. 

Mr. Wilson was processed at the Morgan County Jail, where he is currently being held.

His bond has been set at $90,000.
