2 Lexington High School students airlifted to hospital after wreck

LEXINGTON, AL (WAFF) -

Two students from Lexington High School are in the hospital after losing control of their vehicle while on Friday morning.

Officials say the students lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over while they were on their way to a track meet. It happened on Alabama Highway 101 near the 37 mile marker.

One student was sent to Huntsville Hospital via Air Evac.

At this time we do not know their conditions but are working to get more information and will provide that as soon as it is available.
