Yogi's Texaco on Highway 72 West in Tuscumbia is a back-to-back Kitchen Cops low performer, scoring a 77 this time after putting up an 80 before. The Colbert County Health Department reports fried Chicken, gizzards & chicken bites were 5 to 26 degrees under the minimum of 135 degrees needed to prevent bacterial growth.

Jeff's Mini Mart on Highway 99 in Athens scored a 69. The inspector reports pizza was 7 degrees under the hot-holding food temperature requirement, and that there were no paper towels at an employee hand sink.

The Texaco Quik Stop Market on Highway 72 East in Tuscumbia needed an 85 to get off of the low performers list, but they scored an 84 for their follow-up inspection after scoring a 78 last month.

The Quik Mart in the 500 block of East 2nd Street in Muscle Shoals came into their reinspection as a back-to-back low performer, but their new score, an 87, gets them off of that list.
