1 facing drug charges after routine traffic stop

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

An agent with the Morgan County Drug Task Force responded to a traffic stop that was initiated by Priceville police on Saturday, April 22. 

The Morgan County Sheriff's said Priceville police initiated the traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display tag. Officers made contact with the driver 20-year-old Tyren Shane Willingham.

Investigators say they discovered that Willingham had an outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants for his arrest with different agencies.

Officers also found a white powder substance in the vehicle that was determined to be methamphetamine, weighing over 3 grams.

Willingham was arrested and charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail with a bond set at $1,000.
