2 Florence women charged in multi-state burglary spree

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Lauderdale County authorities have charged two Florence women in multiple car and home burglaries spanning two states.

Deputies found so much stolen property stashed at their home at in the 600 block of Martha Avenue that they had to use a trailer and van to pull it away.

25-year-old Kimberly Cole Vinzant and 25-year-old Jenny Lane face 23 criminal counts. Officials said they each is charged with nine counts of fourth-degree receiving stolen property, three counts of first-degree receiving stolen property, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 10 counts of third-degree receiving stolen property.

The women are also indicted in Wayne County, Tennessee for several counts of aggravated burglary and thefts.

No firearms were recovered. Officials say it was mostly female property.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office still has items left unclaimed. If you had things stolen between January and March  in southern Tennessee or Lauderdale County you might want to check with the department for the property.
