MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

Here's a new phrase for you: shop stealing.

In this week's Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers, a man shopped till he dropped, then he made a run for the door.

A man was roaming the aisles of the Walmart on Madison Boulevard on Feb. 27. He pretty much filled up his shopping cart with everything from groceries to electronics and everything in between.

According to Madison police, this guy gathered up almost $600 in merchandise. But that's where things went sideways.

Police say this guy proceeded to place all of that merchandise in a rubber tote bag and walk out of the store without paying.

But we do have a couple of good looks at him.

Do you recognize him? You could not only help investigators solve this case, but also make yourself some money in the process, as in up to $1,000 in reward money.

Just make the anonymous call to 256-53-Crime. Or you can text or email your anonymous tips. To see how, click the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link.
