GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

New zip lines are now operating at Lake Guntersville State Park.

On Friday, officials announced the grand opening of level two.

The zip lines have been a huge hit since they opened, but the new ones are even more thrilling.

Last spring, the Screaming Eagle Zip Lines opened with 10 zip lines ranging from 75 to 400 feet. So far, it's been a popular attraction at Lake Guntersville State Park.

But on Friday, they opened level two, which consists of seven new zip lines.

A new tower is now erected as part of level two, which handles an incoming line and an outgoing line.

But what makes level two so much more thrilling is the ride. These lines are much longer, ranging from 1,500 to more than 2,000 feet of excitement.

Higher, faster, longer, pretty much. You're higher up in the air. You have longer zip lines. You're going faster when you're going across those zip lines, and you have a longer adventure altogether.

The zip lines are now open seven days a week at Lake Guntersville State Park.
