MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A search is underway for two people Madison County authorities say are connected to a drug bust at a trailer. Four people have already been arrested.

That bust went down just after 5 p.m. Thursday on Empire Lane.

This all stems from a series of burglaries that stretch back about 90 days. Several tips led them to a trailer. Madison County deputies and SWAT raided it. Agents say they discovered drugs and detained several people inside.

Two suspects got away before deputies could chase them down, however. They were identified as Barry Tipton, 29, and Summer Binder, 32.

Authorities say both are connected to the trailer and the investigation.

A manhunt is now ongoing for them.

Tipton is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 190 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes. Binder is a white female, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 145 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes.

They were last seen in a black Pontiac G6 with Alabama license plate CSD172.

As for the search warrant and raid of the trailer, authorities aren't releasing much about what they found inside. We know it's at least one gun and drugs, including methamphetamine. It's not clear how much of what they found is connected to those burglaries.

"We've been heavily working burglaries for about the past 90 days. We seem to be one step behind them. By putting the case together, working hard, following it up other people that we have located and caught have provide us information that led us to this address," said Chief Deputy Dave Jernigan.

Four other people have been arrested in connection to the bust so far. They have been identified as Caleb Stanfield, 27, Michael Talley Jr.,  23, James Moore, 37, and Donna Johnson, 35.
