Huntsville police have arrested a teenager in connection to two shootings at Twickenham Village apartments late Sunday.

The first call came in around 11:30 p.m. from  the apartment complex at 1501 Galaxy Way. Residents at the community reported hearing four to five gunshots in the area.

Residents were already assisting one victim when police arrived at the scene.

That male victim was transported by HEMSI to Huntsville Hospital.

As the first male victim arrived at the hospital via ambulance, another gunshot victim arrived at the hospital having been transported by his girlfriend.

Both victims were still in serious condition Monday afternoon, according to police.

At this time HPD has not determined if the two shootings were part of the same incident or even related.

Authorities have reportedly impounded a car from the scene that was riddled with bullet holes.

Police said they arrested 19-year-old Lamontez Dearius James on a robbery charge.

Police did not say how the robbery is connected. Officers said the investigation is still ongoing and more charges could be coming.
