Father, son charged with child sex crimes in DeKalb County

FYFFE, AL (WAFF) -

A father and son from Fyffe were arrested on sex crime charges involving a missing juvenile on Friday.

DeKalb County deputies say a citizen tip led them to a home on Blackwell Street. The missing juvenile was found there.

The sheriff's office confirmed the victim was not the girl from Guntersville reported missing over the weekend. That child has also been found.

The suspects were also there.

Michael Anthony Wooten, 30, was charged with of three counts of second-degree rape, three counts of second-degree sodomy, interference with child custody and SORNA violation.

Daniel David Wooten, 51, was charged with second-degree rape and interference with child custody.

The sheriff's office confirmed they are father and son.
