Kitchen Cops: 2 K-Cops comebacks, 1 low performer

Granny's Corner in Guntersville is this week's only Kitchen Cops low performer after the Marshall County Health Department handed the business an 84. The inspector reports finding hot food under the temperature needed to prevent bacterial growth. Turnip greens were reportedly 42 degrees under of the mandated minimum 135-degree temperature, beans 40 were degrees under, and dumplings were 16 degrees off the mark.

The staff at the Captain D's in Muscle Shoals earned their way off of the low performers list with a reinspection score of 92, 13 points better than last time.

FloBama in Florence came into their reinspection as a back to back Kitchen Cops low performer with a pair of 84s. This time, they scored a 98, just one point shy of making a rare low-to-high performer turnaround.

Ruth's Chris Steak House, which is located at Twickenham Place at 720 Gallatin St., is one of this week's three Kitchen Cops hgh performers that scored a 99. Dales Stutf/House of Mister mobile food unit in Huntsville also scored a 99, as did Wish You Were Beer at 2500 Clinton Ave. in Huntsville.
