(WAFF) -

Most stores have a "lost and found" policy. You find something that doesn't belong to you, you turn it in.

But in this week's Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers, two people who turned that scenario into a theft.
On surveillance camera, you can see a man and a woman walk into the Wal-Mart on Madison Boulevard in Madison October 13th.

Somebody had left a purse in a shopping cart.

The woman takes a quick look around and they push that cart and purse into the store, but they didn’t head to the customer service desk to turn the purse in.
In fact, just a few minutes later, the man leaves first, pushing the cart with the purse still in plain sight.

Then the woman comes along a few seconds later carrying a bag of merchandise. She's still looking a little suspicious.

As well she should, especially with the great looks we have at her and the man on surveillance video.

If you know who they are, you could pocket up to a thousand dollars in reward money.
Just make the anonymous call to 256-53-Crime.
