Take it slow on the roads as you head into work today as visibilities are below ¼ mile in many spots this morning. Patchy dense fog will stick around through about 9 AM.
Some mist or drizzle is possible through 8 or 9 AM, otherwise, expect a mostly cloudy Monday with highs around 60 degrees. Rain returns to the forecast tomorrow through Wednesday.
Heavy rain is likely and a few isolated thunderstorms can’t be ruled out. We will be closely monitoring the potential for flooding with this system as many of us could pick up over 2” of rain.
Dry air moves in Thursday and will help to clear out clouds and bring back some much-needed sunshine.
More rain moves in Friday and how quickly this moves through will impact our weekend rain chances.
There is a possibility of a front stalling and bringing even more heavy rain to the forecast.
