The Captain D's in Muscle Shoals scored a 79 during their recent inspection. The Colbert County Health Department's report lists several critical violations, including cleaning issues with dinnerware and cookware. The inspector reports finding dirty dishes and pans stored with clean dishes and pans.

The Captain D's reportedly also had a food temperature problem. Stuffed crab shells in a cooler needed to be colder by 14 degrees in order to prevent bacterial growth. And the report shows mac and cheese and green beans were stored with marks to remind the staff when the food would need to be tossed out.

Hibachi Express in Decatur is one of two K-Cops Comebacks this week. They scored between 80 and 83 during their previous three inspections, but this time, the staff cleaned up, scoring a 91, earning their way off the Kitchen Cops Low Performers List.

The Denny's in Huntsville rose to a 93 during their reinspection, a big improvement over the 80 they scored last time.

With an inspection score of 99, The Carriage Wine & Market in Florence is this week's sole Kitchen Cops High Performer.
