Governor Bentley to survey tornado damage across state

Governor Robert Bentley will survey the areas hardest hit by Tuesday tornadoes on Thursday.

Stops include Winson, DeKalb and Jackson Counties. 3 people were killed in a storm that moved through Rosalie.

Other areas suffered multiple injuries and dozens of damaged structures. 

Governor Bentley will start in DeKalb County, make the 10-minute drive to Rosalie, then end in Winston County.

Here is a schedule of stops:

  • 10AM...Ider City Hall (DeKalb)
  • Following...Ider Christian Academy Daycare (DeKalb)
  • Following....Rosalie Elementary School (Jackson)
  • 1PM...Arley Volunteer Fire Department (Winston)
