Crime Stoppers: Cloned credit cards used at Athens Wal-Mart

ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -

Credit card crimes are already among the most prevalent in the country. And something called credit card "cloning" is adding the problem.

Crooks access your personal information and make a fake card. And as you'll see in this week's Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers, it unfortunately works.

According to Athens police, a man and woman used the cloned cards at the Wal-Mart on U.S. 72 in Athens from the second week in September through the second week in October.

It was a month of misery for the victims.

And not only do we have some good shots of the crooks faces, we also have a good look at the vehicle they were driving here in the parking lot. That would be this white pickup truck which we believe is a Ford Super Duty F-350.

That plus the good looks at the crooks ought to be plenty enough to put these two behind bars. All we need is your help identifying them, and we're more than willing to pay for that information with a reward of up to $1,000.

Just make the anonymous call to 256-53-Crime or you can also text or e-mail your anonymous tips. To see how to do that, click the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link.
