HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The teen from Goshen, Kentucky came forward last week saying a church leader sodomized him or her while on a church retreat in Huntsville in June 2015. UAH police launched an investigation last Tuesday. On Monday, UAH leaders revealed new information including that the accusations involve a Lutheran church in Goshen, a community just outside of Louisville.

Goshen town leaders confirmed there's only one Lutheran church in the community.

We've also learned that this Kentucky church was taking part in a Lutheran youth retreat organized by a Lutheran church in Fairhope, Alabama. That same south Alabama church also assisted in renting out the dorms at UAH's campus.

WAFF 48 News emailed and called church leaders in both Goshen and Fairhope but haven't heard back.

A spokesperson for the Oldham County, Kentucky Police Department said UAH police are handling the investigation and Oldham County will not be releasing any information about the case.
